Synopsis
Illustrator Evelyn Carter marries tech oligarch Damian Sterling, only to find that even her living expenses require approval. When her sister urgently needs $300,000 to save her life, he allows his secretary to hold up the application while showering the secretary with a sports car and a luxury watch. After her sister dies, he gives his wife just $52 in compensation. Evelyn leaves behind a divorce agreement and cuts off the tracking. A year later, he finally finds her, but she smashes the phone he intends to use to “save her life”—will she turn back this time?
