Synopsis
Aria, an ER nurse, married Nico, the Chicago mafia godfather — yet in three years of marriage, her husband never truly saw her. Because of a family feud, Roman, the head of the Russian mob, demanded that the Castellano family leave a woman behind to settle the debt. Nico took his first love Bianca and left Aria — already pregnant — stranded in the enemy's warehouse. Roman treated her well, honoring the old code, but Nico sent divorce papers and fought for custody of the child. Roman proposed marrying her in the name of "the godfather's wife is inviolable," vowing to protect her and her child. Their marriage of convenience slowly turned real, and love grew with time. Bianca exposed her uncle's plot to pit the two families against each other in war. Roman eliminated his enemies, Aria safely gave birth to their son Alexei, and Roman formally adopted the boy and held a true wedding. The family lived happily ever after. True love means someone truly sees you — and is willing to turn back for you.
