Synopsis
For fifteen years, Renn Vance poured her heart and soul into the Iron Valley territory, silently shouldering the perilous duties of its Guardian, only to see all the credit claimed by her partner, Rett. After finally seeing through the exploitation, Renn submitted her resignation and a request to sever their partnership bond; she completed a legally binding handover of her duties and walked away from Iron Valley—a place that had completely drained her. In her past life, she had chosen to endure and stay, ultimately becoming a scapegoat for disaster and dying in disgrace; in this life, she proactively gathered evidence and reclaimed her family’s assets. Deprived of its true Guardian, Iron Valley rapidly collapsed, while Rett and Sabur dragged each other down to ruin. Breaking free from the shackles of the past, Renn seized new career opportunities and built her own sanctuary, Vance Hollow; she finally gained the recognition, respect, and sense of self she deserved. This is a realistic fantasy story centered on a werewolf community, focusing on female awakening, workplace accountability, emotional exploitation, self-protection through evidence, and refusing to pay the price for others' mistakes.
