Synopsis
Legendary chief test pilot Evelyn Carter is reborn as nine-year-old Mia after an unexpected accident. During Flight SC6654, the aircraft suffers a critical engine failure and the pilots become unable to continue flying. Drawing on the aviation and engineering expertise from her previous life, Mia helps stabilize the aircraft, navigate a dangerous storm, and guide the flight to a successful emergency landing on Lake Michigan, bringing everyone safely home. Afterward, Mia refuses to let others take credit for what she accomplished. At the recognition ceremony, the truth finally comes to light, earning her an official honor from Skycrest and a place in its youth aviation engineering program. Given a second chance at life, Mia discovers a new dream: not simply to fly again, but to make aircraft safer—and help more people find their way home.
