Synopsis
The goddess Evelyn is pushed off the peak of Mount Olympus by her fiancé, Julian, and her sister, Victoria, shattering her to death. When she opens her eyes again, she finds herself back on the night she was drugged. Desperate to escape the fate that destroyed her in her past life, she flees—only to stumble into a stranger’s room. As the drug overwhelms her senses, she spends the night with him. By morning, the man has vanished without a trace, and Evelyn dismisses it as a fleeting encounter, determined never to speak of it again. Until the gathering of the gods on Mount Olympus, when she sees the eyes and silhouette of Caesar, the supreme god—and realizes he is the very man from that fateful night. Worse yet, Caesar is Julian’s father. As the enemies from her past close in and Victoria’s schemes slowly come to light, Evelyn keeps her head down and gathers evidence in secret. Meanwhile, a forbidden attraction and dangerous restraint weave a tangled web between her and Caesar. He keeps her at arm’s length, leaving her caught between desire and caution. When Victoria and Julian join forces to drive Evelyn into a corner, Caesar descends from the heavens to save her. It turns out that ever since that night, he has never been able to let her go.
