Synopsis
Single mom Clara flees her controlling ex-husband with her five-year-old daughter Lily, only to break down outside a small-town auto shop in the rain. Mechanic Mason fixes her car and protects them from her pursuing ex. To help Clara win custody, they enter a temporary marriage. But at the custody hearing, Mason’s true identity is revealed: he’s the heir to a Manhattan real estate empire—and he’s just acquired the largest debt owed by Clara’s ex-husband’s company.
