Synopsis
I loved Dante for ten years. Served as his Luna for three. Everyone knew I was the Moon Goddess' chosen mate. But to him? I was just a placeholder — a stand-in to keep the pack and elders in line while Sophia was gone. On my birthday, he took Sophia on his yacht. At the alliance banquet, he heard my confession — then turned around to save her. In the hospital, he shoved me aside to protect Sophia. I hit the floor. Blood everywhere. So I took the rejection contract he signed with his own hand. Walked into the Moon Goddess Temple. The moment my soul tore apart, I finally stopped loving him. Now he's chasing me to California. Sending money. Buying shares. Taking silver bullets for me. Moving across the street. Begging me to come back. Too late. Love that comes late isn't worth a damn anymore. From now on, I'm not Dante Moretti's Luna. I'm just Elena.
