Synopsis
My employer Sophia Carter is the daughter of my enemy, and I serve as her bodyguard. No one figures out my real motive, for money is never the reason I stay by her side. A plane blast separated us from the outside world, leaving us stranded on a wild island. When night blankets the land, only she and I remain. I curl my lips, lean in slowly, and murmur right beside her ear: “There’s just the two of us here. Guess what I’ll do—protect you, or kill you to avenge my father?”
