Synopsis
As Earth’s resources are depleted and the apocalypse approaches, escape ships become humanity’s last hope—and tickets are nearly impossible to obtain. When Chuck learns that his first love supposedly holds priority boarding rights, he forces his wife Lynn to sign a divorce agreement, abandons their sick daughter as a burden, and eagerly reunites with his former lover. What Chuck doesn’t know is the truth. Lynn is the ship’s chief engineer. His first love is nothing more than a con artist selling fake tickets built on lies. Even more shocking, Lynn’s parents—declared dead by the government ten years ago—have actually established a human colony light-years away. Their success went unreported due to signal delays across space. Chuck revels in his betrayal, convinced he has secured his escape—until he steps into the ship’s VIP boarding corridor. The system flashes RED. On the platform above, Lynn, dressed in her engineer’s uniform, walks forward under military escort, holding her daughter’s hand. She announces the ship’s First Prohibition: “Those who betray their own will never be allowed aboard.” As Chuck screams behind the security barrier, Lynn never looks back.
