Ava Reed, a 26-year-old local white female lead, is an excellent flight attendant of Great Lakes Airlines. She maintained an underground relationship with the star captain Jaxson Voss for four years - Jaxson always regarded her as a substitute for Scarlett Hale, his ex-girlfriend. In the early stage, Jaxson was strong-willed and paranoid, and used his identity and power to bind Ava, making her endure and humble. Ava gave birth to her daughter Zoe, who had congenital heart disease, and endured everything alone. Scarlett returned to China to forcefully save Jaxson, and the truth was revealed layer by layer: the significant other soul that Jaxson fell in love with in college, and the person who anonymously took care of him for half a year when he was blind in a flight accident, were all Ava. Jaxson realized late that he deeply loved Ava, but kept hurting her due to possessiveness. Ava gave up and was in a desperate situation due to her daughter's critical illness, exposure of her background, and being framed by her best friend. In the end, Jaxson saved her with his life, and Ava's identity was revealed as the lost daughter of the wealthy Carlisle family. The three of them cleared up all misunderstandings and stayed together happily.
