Synopsis
Holy Maiden Eileen is killed during the trial of the divine servants, but gains a chance to reincarnate through the Sands of Time hourglass. She rewinds again and again trying to escape her death, yet gradually uncovers a shocking truth: the holy light is no savior deity but a predator that devours humanity, and the faith of the Holy Court has been a ten-thousand-year lie all along. Duke Cassius of the Dark Abyss, whom she herself sent to the stake, forged the hourglass with half of his own life — every rewind burns his life force. Eileen abandons the path to godhood, rallies a group of awakened companions, breaks free of the cruel choices set by the gods, and rises to slay them with humanity as her blade. The divine throne topples, the old era ends, and mortals finally shake off their shackles to seize their own human destiny.
