Synopsis
Four years after her parents were murdered, Tamsin Kells waits tables while working undercover for Detective Hollis Stroud, who swore port kingpin Dario Vescari ordered their deaths. She stages a drugged encounter in a club alley to reach him, moves into his home under a signed escort agreement, and watches the auction transfer slip in his study, but the case keeps bending: Dario sees through her and shields her anyway, the contractor Bruno's voice matches the killer on her father's tape, and Hollis turns up at the auction with a police pass and a ledger. When Hollis hands her cyanide and orders her to poison Dario, she calls the regular desk and cuffs Dario herself to keep him alive. Her father's last recording names Hollis as the man clearing the port's dirty money, and a payment slip he approved proves it. Pregnant, suspended and chasing the one witness still alive, she corners Hollis at the auction house, where he confesses to hiring Bruno and framing Dario, then reaches for a gun.
